Central Tube W-Sheath Optical Cable (GYXTW)

Service hotline:

Product Description: The GYXTW optical cable features a structure where single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers are encased within loose tubes made from high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. Outside the loose tubes, double-sided chrome-plated and plastic-coated steel strips are longitudinally wrapped around the assembly. A water-blocking material is added between the steel strips and the loose tubes to ensure both compactness and longitudinal water resistance. Finally, two parallel steel wires are placed on either side before the cable is extruded with a polyethylene (PE) jacket, completing the cable construction.

Product Standard: YD/T 769-2010

Applicable to: Piping, overhead, direct burial

Product features:

Precisely controlled fiber slack ensures that the optical cable exhibits excellent tensile performance and temperature characteristics.

The loose-tube material itself boasts excellent hydrolysis resistance and high strength, and the tube is filled with a special gel that provides critical protection for the optical fibers.

Specially designed tight-buffered cable structure effectively prevents the jacket from retracting;

Good lateral pressure resistance and flexibility;

Double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) enhances the cable's resistance to moisture penetration;

Two parallel steel wires ensure the tensile strength of the optical cable;

The polyethylene (PE) jacket boasts excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, features a small diameter, is lightweight, and easy to install.
