Product Description: The ADSS optical cable features a loose-tube stranded structure. Optical fibers are encased within loose tubes made from high-modulus polyester material, and these tubes are filled with a water-resistant compound. The loose tubes (along with the filling strands) are tightly twisted around a non-metallic FRP central strength member, forming a compact cable core. Any gaps within the cable core are completely filled with water-blocking gel. Finally, a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath is extruded over the cable core, followed by two layers of aramid yarn spirally wrapped in opposite directions for added strength, and topped off with either a polyethylene (PE) outer jacket or an anti-corrosion (AT) jacket designed to resist electrical erosion.
Product Standard: DL/T 788-2016
Product features:
Suitable for high-voltage transmission lines of different voltage levels;
Carefully designed aramid fiber用量 and optimized braiding processes to meet the application requirements of various spans;
Can be erected without power interruption;
Utilizing an AT jacket, it offers excellent resistance to electrical erosion;
Lightweight and with a small cable diameter, it reduces the impact of ice buildup, wind forces, and the load on towers and supports.
Large span—maximum span exceeds 1,000 meters;
The precisely controlled aramid armor technology significantly enhances the tensile strength of optical cables.
Precisely controlled cable slack and cable helix pitch ensure the optical cable exhibits excellent tensile strength and thermal performance.
Life expectancy exceeds 30 years.
