September 10, 2018, Teacher's Day—what a wonderful day! On this occasion, the autumn air was crisp and refreshing, with gentle breezes and light clouds drifting lazily across the sky. At the construction site of the "Shentong Optoelectronics Aviation New Energy Special Cable Intelligent Manufacturing Base" in Zhuzhou Aviation City, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and filled with joyful energy!
Led by Cao Qinghua, Chairman of SanShen Group, along with General Managers Liu Jianxun of Shentong Optoelectronics, Zhong Xuejun of ShenHua Real Estate, Liu Yongsheng of ShenYu Investment, and Cai Yongjiu of Shentong Kyushu—along with company leaders from various sectors—the ceremony officially kicked off the groundbreaking for SanShen Group's office building and Shentong Optoelectronics' new flagship facility, proudly attended by esteemed guests and all SanShen employees.
First, the Chairman led everyone in a heartfelt prayer to Heaven! First prayer: May the nation prosper and its people enjoy peace and security—only then can our group thrive today. Second prayer: May we receive unwavering support from all sectors—only then can our base continue to flourish. Third prayer: May the three divine figures grant us strength—only then can we carry forward the glorious legacy of our past, present, and future.
At the auspicious time of 10:18 a.m., during the subsequent groundbreaking ceremony, the chairman personally placed the cornerstone and led everyone in shoveling earth into the foundation. Meanwhile, the surrounding crowd enthusiastically tossed celebratory coins (a local folk tradition) toward the cornerstone—each coin symbolizing heartfelt blessings from all present.
The wedding banquet was also uniquely creative—just like a joyous occasion in a rural village, they set up tents and served a lavish feast, filled with laughter and cheerful chatter that never ceased. It was brimming with warmth and camaraderie, far surpassing the formality of a meal at a grand hotel!

The new base project has been in the planning stages since last year under the guidance of the group's leadership. With the care and attention from the municipal (district) Party Committee and the municipal (district) government, as well as the strong support from the company and all sectors of society, the initiative has steadily progressed—from initial planning and design, through application and approval processes, land acquisition and resettlement efforts, to the completion of "three connections and one leveling," and finally, the groundbreaking ceremony held in early July. To ensure the timely completion of the new factory and office building, Hunan United Urban Construction Group, along with other key stakeholders—including planning, design, supervision, and construction teams—have steadfastly adhered to the guiding principle of "a century-long plan, quality first." They have meticulously coordinated every step, executed work with precision, and maintained rigorous management practices, guaranteeing top-notch quality, steady progress, and absolute safety throughout the project. As of today, the Shentong New Production Base is advancing rapidly and smoothly, with everything proceeding in an orderly manner despite the tight timeline. The project is expected to take another six months, meaning that by next spring—when the weather turns warm and flowers bloom—the new base will officially be unveiled, marking a significant milestone for the company.
Witness the growth! This is a momentous and joyous occasion for all three Shenren—truly a long-held aspiration shared by generations of Shenren. For Tongsheng Optoelectronics, in particular, which aspires to become one of the top ten, or even the top three, players in the national industry, enhancing the company’s physical infrastructure while boosting its visibility and reputation in society will play a crucial and indispensable role. Especially in today’s challenging global economic and trade landscape, real-world enterprises like Tongsheng have persevered through countless obstacles, overcoming immense hardships along the way. Chairman Tsinghua and the leadership of the three Shenren teams deeply understand their heavy responsibilities, transforming pressure into motivation. They’ve carefully assessed the situation, strategically laid the groundwork for a new base, and are determined to break free from adversity, enabling the SanShen Group to soar against all odds!

As we look ahead to next year’s 20th anniversary celebration (2019), this project serves as both a heartfelt tribute to our enduring legacy and a bold step toward even greater achievements—reaffirming our commitment to building on our past successes while boldly reaching for the future.
