“Five great mountains and rivers grace the land with unparalleled beauty, and among them, Mount Heng stands out as the foremost in southern China.” Mount Heng, known as the ‘Mountain of Longevity’ among the Five Great Mountains, is an ideal place to pray for blessings. Since ancient times—dating back to Emperors Yao and Shun—and continuing to this day, countless people have flocked here year after year to seek spiritual solace and fortune.
At exactly 7:00 a.m. on May 11, led by Chairman Cao Qinghua, more than 100 management personnel from our San Shen Group gathered at Shenhua Buckingham Palace and set off to embark on our annual trip to Mount Yue.
On one hand, this gesture is a heartfelt thank you for the remarkable growth and prosperity the company experienced in 2017. On the other hand, it’s also a prayerful wish for 2018, hoping that we’ll enjoy smooth sailing, continued upward momentum, excellent health, and success in all our endeavors throughout the coming year.
After a one-and-a-half-hour drive, everyone gathered at the foot of Mount Heng and boarded eco-friendly vehicles bound for Nantianmen. From Nantianmen, they set off on foot to reach the summit. Along the way, team members supported each other, pushing forward with determination until they all successfully arrived at the pinnacle of Mount Yue—Zhurong Peak.
Perched atop Mount Zhurong, you gaze out upon the towering mountains below—just as the Tang Dynasty literati Han Yu once described: "Ten thousand zhang of Zhurong rise abruptly from the earth, glimpsed yet obscured within delicate wisps of mist." A sudden mountain breeze sweeps by, carrying with it faint tendrils of mist that envelop you entirely, making it feel as though you’re standing in a celestial realm among the clouds. In that moment, all the fatigue accumulated during your climb seems to vanish with the wind, leaving both mind and body thoroughly cleansed and rejuvenated.
In an instant, I couldn’t help but turn toward the heavens, sincerely offering my prayers—begging for our nation’s prosperity and peace, for the well-being of our people! May the Three Gods thrive and flourish in good health, fulfilling their grand visions! And may all our San Shen employees enjoy robust health, happiness, and harmonious lives!
