On June 2, 2018, all key personnel and Party members of SanShen Group once again visited Shaoshan to experience the charm of its red culture, immerse themselves in revolutionary education, and deeply appreciate the inspiring revolutionary spirit of these outstanding figures.
Amidst towering, verdant mountains, ancient pines, and lush greenery, the solemn and dignified Mao Zedong Square proudly stands as home to a majestic 10.1-meter-tall bronze statue of Chairman Mao, facing southeast with his hand gently holding a document, his piercing gaze fixed ahead. The statue captures the iconic image of the People's Leader attending the founding ceremony of New China. All members of SanShen Company stood in perfect formation, their hearts filled with profound reverence. Led by company chairman Cao Qinghua and other SanShen leaders, they ascended the steps under the solemn narration of the square’s broadcast system. Armed police officers cleared the way ahead, ensuring a respectful and orderly procession. As they approached the statue, the group laid down a wreath, performed three deep bows, and slowly circled the monument once—joining millions across China who have journeyed to Shaoshan to pay their respects. Through this deeply traditional ritual, they honored and remembered the great revolutionary leader, expressing their enduring love and admiration for the founding father of the nation.
After paying their respects to the Chairman’s bronze statue, everyone excitedly headed to the Mao Zedong Memorial Garden, tracing the footsteps of the revolution, experiencing its enduring charm, and embracing its inspiring spirit. Through visiting miniature replicas of historical sites such as the site of the Zunyi Conference, Mao Ping’s former residence, and Luding Bridge, they deeply felt the Shaoshan Spirit—“It is through sacrifice that we forge great aspirations, daring to transform the heavens and earth!” Inside the Party History Exhibition Hall of the Special Branch of the CPC in Shaoshan, attendees examined the displayed historical photographs, cultural relics, and documents, reliving the Communist pioneers’ courageous journey of forging ahead despite adversity. They also listened intently to heartwarming stories about Chairman Mao’s profound bond with the people, gaining a deeper appreciation for the older generation of revolutionaries—those who were steadfast, diligent, unafraid of hardship, and always devoted to serving the masses.
Through this trip to Shaoshan, everyone once again received a profound education in revolutionary traditions, vowing to uphold the thoughts of the great leaders, carry forward the spirit of revolutionary dedication, stay grounded in reality, apply these principles to our respective roles, and, for the continued growth of our SanShen enterprise, remain true to our original aspirations as we move forward with determination!
