At 10:38 a.m. on July 5, 2018, the construction site of Shentong Optoelectronics' new cable production facility echoed with the thunderous roar of firecrackers and was illuminated by a dazzling cascade of fireworks, filling the air with joy and celebration. Led by Cao Qinghua, Chairman of the company, and other senior leaders of SanShen Group, the massive pile-driving sounds rang out powerfully and majestically—marking the official commencement of the groundbreaking ceremony for the "Shentong Optoelectronics Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Special Cables Used in Aviation and New Energy."

The "Shentong Optoelectronics Special Cable Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Aviation and New Energy" project was initiated under the care and strong support of the Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government. Guided by the goal of "accelerating the efficient and sustainable development of the local economy while fostering the construction of smart, high-end industries," the project was proposed and invested in by Hunan Shentong Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., with bridging assistance provided by the Lusong District Party Committee and Government.
The new base project is located within Aviation City, Lusong District, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. The factory area is bordered to the east by Machinery & Electronics Avenue and to the west by Hundred Billion Avenue. A total of 203.21 mu of newly acquired land has been allocated for this project. Guided by industry development trends and market demands, Shentong Optoelectronics, while aligning with the company's specific circumstances and its sustainable growth strategy, plans to develop and produce cables for power and electrical equipment, including: medium- and low-voltage power cables, cables for building wiring, flexible connection cables, shielded flexible cables, control cables, and overhead cables; as well as new-energy vehicle cables such as photovoltaic cables and charging cables for electric vehicles; railway transportation cables, encompassing power locomotive cables and rail transit cables; and low-voltage automotive wiring products.
The new base is slated to become operational in 2019, at which time it will have achieved and established an annual production capacity of up to 184,350 kilometers of wires and cables, with an output value reaching 2.0336 billion yuan. This will mark the arrival of Zhuzhou City's first wire and cable enterprise generating over 1 billion yuan in annual revenue!
