Fiber Optic Cable for Pipelines (GYTA)

Service hotline:

Product Description: The GYTA optical cable features a structure where single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers are encased within loose tubes made from high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. At the center of the cable core sits a metallic strength member; for cables with certain fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the metal strength member. The loose tubes (along with filling strands) are then twisted around the central strength member to form a compact, circular cable core, and the gaps within the core are completely filled with a water-blocking filler. Finally, the cable is completed by longitudinally wrapping a plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) around the core, followed by extrusion of a protective polyethylene jacket.

Product Standard: YD/T 901-2018

Applicable to: Pipelines, overhead structures

Product features:

Precisely controlled fiber slack ensures that the optical cable exhibits excellent tensile performance and temperature characteristics.

The casing material itself boasts excellent hydrolysis resistance and high strength, while the interior is filled with a specialized grease that provides critical protection for the optical fibers.

The polyethylene (PE) jacket possesses excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation;

Employ the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:

- Single-strand steel wire central reinforcing core;

- The loose tube is filled with a special waterproof compound;

- Fully cable core-filled;
