Product Description: The GYTA53 optical cable features a structure where single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers are housed within loose tubes made of high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. At the center of the cable core is a metallic strength member; for certain cable configurations, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the metal strength member. The loose tubes (along with filling strands) are twisted around the central strength member to form a compact, circular cable core, and the gaps within the core are completely filled with a water-blocking filler. Finally, the cable is sheathed with a plastic-coated aluminum tape that is longitudinally wrapped, followed by the application of a polyethylene inner jacket. A double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) is then longitudinally wrapped around the assembly, after which a polyethylene outer jacket is extruded to complete the cable.
Product Standard: YD/T 901-2018
Applicable to: Directly buried
Product features:
Precisely controlled fiber slack ensures that the optical cable exhibits excellent tensile strength and temperature performance.
The loose-tube material itself boasts excellent hydrolysis resistance and high strength, while the tube is filled with a special gel that provides critical protection for the optical fibers.
Good lateral pressure resistance and flexibility;
Employ the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:
- Single-strand steel wire central reinforcing core;
- The loose tube is filled with a special waterproof compound;
- Fully cable core-filled;
- Double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) enhances the cable's resistance to moisture penetration;
- Moisture-proof layer made of coated aluminum tape (APL);
- A high-quality water-barrier material prevents longitudinal water ingress in the optical cable.
